ASH 2016: Patient Perspective with Thomas Goode

When Thomas Goode arrived at the 58th American Society of Hematology annual meeting, he felt “mesmerized” and was not sure “how he would accept it all.” He leaves realizing that he is now, not just a myeloma patient, but an active advocate armed with information. Near the end of this video, he expresses his gratitude to IMF Director of Support Groups Robin Tuohy for inviting him, and to veteran ASH attendees for showing him “how everything works.”

Thomas Goode

Diagnosed with myeloma in 2005, Thomas Goode today co-leads the Triangle Area Support Group in North Carolina and is also a Reflective Ambassador for Celgene. The IMF welcomes Thomas to his first ASH Annual Meeting.
